Non-Oxygenated Premium
Availability in Minnesota
This list is not a complete listing of all stations in the state that offer non-oxygenated premium gasoline. This is a list of our members who responded to informational surveys we sent them. If you come across others who are not listed, we would appreciate a message from you or the station so that we may add them to the list. Also, if you find one of the listings has taken out their non-oxy, please let us know.
From 10/1 through 1/31, stations in the 10
county metro area are not allowed to sell non-oxygenated (i.e. non-ethanol)
products if they have not filled out the proper forms with the EPA. The
counties not allowed to sell during this time are: Anoka, Carver, Chisago,
Dakota, Hennepin, Isanti, Ramsey, Scott, Washington, and Wright.
The EPA has approved the metro area as an
"attainment" area. What this means is that the gasoline retailer may
sell non-oxygenated premium year-round if the retailer has completed the proper
requirements. We have sent out a mailing to those on this list and to the rest
of our membership asking for those that have complied with the EPA and will be
selling it year-round. As soon as we have that information, it will be noted on
the list.
We are also in the process of compiling a
list of retailers offering "racing" gas. We receive several inquiries
for that information. Please forward the station's information to us if you
know of any selling the "racing" gas.
